Class Descriptions
ADULT CLASSES
Ages 16+
Adv. Beg. Theatre Jazz: basic-intermediate knowledge of dance focusing on technique and broadening styles throughout the genre. attire: loose-fitting attire, character heels/shoes, or jazz shoes.
Int./Int. Adv. Theatre Jazz: an intermediate/intermediate advanced level of jazz/musical theatre dance honing in on style throughout the genre. attire: loose-fitting attire, character heels/shoes, or jazz shoes.
Adv. Beg. Ballet: beginner ballet with some knowledge of movement.
attire: loose fitting attire, ballet shoes.
Intermediate Ballet: advanced beginner/intermediate ballet with some knowledge of basic movements.
attire: loose fitting attire, ballet shoes.
Advanced Ballet: advanced ballet with extensive knowledge of turns and jumps.

Beginner/Advanced Beginner Pointe: beginner level of pointe, mostly barre work, working towards the center

Intermediate Pointe: intermediate level of pointe, mostly center work with turns

Adv. Beg. Tap: advanced beginner to intermediate basic tap with knowledge of shuffle, flap, etc.

Advanced Tap: advanced. knowledge of intricate rhythms, and adding pick-ups.

Advanced Contemporary: advanced dancers. freeing form of ballet, modern, jazz mixed together.

MINIS, PETITES, KIDS, & TEENS CLASSES
Theatre Dance: structured to learn basic techniques and explore all styles of musical theatre genre.
Hip Hop/Acro: These classes will alternate from one week to the next, one-week being hip hop and one week being acro. Hip-hop dance is a vibrant, street style of dance. Acro (short for acrobatics) is a style used to obtain acrobatic skills to further dance training.

Ballet: honing in on technique to improve all styles.
Tap: learning the basics of tap - flaps, shuffles, time steps, etc.
Theatre Jazz: learning the oldest and newest forms of jazz dance with an occasional showtune. Emphasis on the performance quality while dancing.
Lyrical Jazz: freeing form of jazz mixed with ballet.
Contemporary: bringing ballet, jazz, and lyrical together in a freeing way.
Minis /Petites: the basics of ballet, jazz, and tap while having the most fun!

Private lessons are available in any/all of the styles listed above, with any of the teachers' availability permitting.
